I am so glad I have friends who know Jesus. And love me well.
This place has the weirdest weather. The wind is whipping at about 560 mph.

ok so i have to wake up so early everyday. and this week i have been changing up my morning car rides. and by that i mean i have started listening to hilarious music.
aka. these men. usher. and nelly.
and i dance. in my car. at 7am.

some thoughts on the day.
today began week three of my internship. i actually felt pretty good about today and left feeling like i learned a lot. so the adolescent program is busting at the seams for this time of year. there are 14 kids as of today, which is double what they can take right now. (i guess that next week they will get more staff, but usually at this time of year there are less than 7 kids!)

thursday nights have become dinner and hang out time for me and my bestie here courtney. last night we were just talking about our internships and what has been going on. in the midst of a busy and dramatic week i am so thankful for it.
she told me a story about how her supervisors 7-year-old daughter has horrible cancer and feels sick most of the time. he told courtney that his daughter told...
last weekend i got to visit one of my dearest friends in her new home in pasadena, california. rebecca and i went to burkina faso, africa together three years ago and became really good friends. even though we have never lived in the same state we have remained close. i am so thankful for her.

i am going to try and write as much about my internship as possible. today was my second day…and i am exhausted. seriously. so so tired.
ok so i am gonna be working in the adolescent psych unit at a hospital. the kids are going to be ages 11-17. it is an outpatient program so they come during the day and go home to their families at night.

When was the last time you saw a dalmation?! I just saw one and was alarmed cause i hadnt seen one in forever. Are they extinct or something? Firehouses all across America must be really missing their mascot.

so last weekend i found an awesome piece of furniture at a resale shop that was bubbling with potential.

legitimately i worked on this thing for 15 hours. and went to home depot three times
i finished it and decided to take the doors off because i loved the inside so much.
